MATERNITY LEAVE COVER

Applications are invited for a 1 year temporary maternity cover Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist full time 37.5 hours based within Cowal Community Hospital.

You will take responsibility for a community clinical caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge from care. You will work within multi-professional teams to ensure co-ordinated care for patients. You will also be required to supervise students on clinical placement. You will have a BSc Physiotherapy or above qualification.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Argyll & Bute to meet the operational requirements of the Service.

Work areas also include Cowal and surrounding area and occasional cover for Community Hospital Admissions, Palliative and Rehab Wards, and Rehabilitation classes including a falls & mobility clinic and occasional out patients.

There are opportunities for training both internally and externally with funding available.
