Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) are looking to recruit a talented and committed Head of Finance and Transformation to deliver professional, financial management and transformational change. The post holder will be central to enabling the partnership to drive forward our future plans to support the communities of Argyll and Bute. As a key member of our Strategic Leadership Team, the successful candidate will report to the Chief Officer, working closely in collaboration with the NHS Highland Director of Finance, Argyll and Bute Council Section 95 Officer, partners, customers and colleagues. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will help to plan, develop and implement business strategy and resource and deliver the IJB's strategic objectives sustainably and in the public interest. You will undertake the role of proper officer for the administration of the Integrated Joint Board's financial affairs in terms of Section 95 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973.
You will also be accountable to the Integration Joint Board for the planning, development and delivery of its three year financial strategy and be responsible for the provision of strategic financial advice and support to the Integration Joint Board and Chief Officer. You will also be responsible for the financial administration and financial governance of the IJB and for leading and delivering on a programme of ongoing Transformation of services and organisational arrangements.

This post is integrated and so can be employed by either Argyll and Bute Council or NHS Highland. Applicants who currently work for either of these bodies should expect to stay with their existing employer if they are successful. External applicants will have the option to choose employer.
This is a full time permanent post, working Monday to Friday and will be based in Argyll and Bute. The appointment process will include an Assessment Centre and interview by a panel of Integrated Joint Board Members.
