Post Title – Support Worker
Grade: HC03 Salary Scale: £16,552 – 18,323 pro rata
Part time 32 hpw, fixed term for 12 months
(Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.
We are looking for a Support Worker (32 hours per week, 12 months Fixed Term) to work in a Team which delivers care and support to adults with learning disabilities, communication difficutlties, personal care and complex needs, accessing a specialist day care resource. You should be able to work as part of a team or under your own initiative and will be required to undertake activities with Service Users, along with Moving & Handling and personal care duties, with excellent communciaton skills and confidence in your ability, you will be willing and able to undertake and achieve all training required for Service delivery. The Day Care Service is currently Monday - Friday, and we are looking for some flexibility in start and finish times. The successful applicant will require to be registered with the PVG Scheme.
