Salary Scale £24,670 - £30,742 per annum, pro rata
We are looking for Registered Nurses First Level (Adult) to join our team on the new Post Acute Ward, located on Ward 5C. Full and Part Time hours are available.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in establishing a new ward and a new concept of care for Raigmore Hospital and we are looking for individuals who have a shared vision for Post Acute services along with a genuine passion for working within Medicine for the Elderly.
The ward has 24 beds including 6 beds for patients primarily from the Inverness area that area medically stable with anticipated lengths of stay less than 72 hours and 18 post acute beds for patients with longer LOS who meet the agreed admission, discharge and exit criteria. The ethos of this ward will be about promoting and maximising independence to enable patients to return to their own homes.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to assess, plan and implement care for patients whilst maintaining an enabling environment. Applicants should also have good communication and interpersonal skills and work well within a team.
