We have an opportunity to join the B&S Community Mental Health Team on a secondment basis until March 2021. This is a Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioners post.

The post is within generic mental health, working as part of a multi disciplinary team. You will work with individuals carrying out recovery focussed evidence based interventions. Also delivering evidence based skills training to groups including Decider skills, Survive and Thrive and STEPPs, training opportunities will be available, as well as supervision to ensure safe practice.

You will regularly screen urgent referrals, making decisions and action appropriately. The role will include supporting the team leader in facilitating team referral/allocation meetings, Carrying out mental health assessments within agreed time frames and having a complex caseload, you will also be supervising more junior staff including HCA and student nurses.

Full current driving licence and use of car for work purposes is essential.
