An exciting opportunity has arisen for self-motivated enthusiastic nurses to work within the Wester Ross Integrated Health and Social Care Team District Nursing Service based at Ullapool. If you do not already hold the specialist practice qualification in District nursing, opportunities for funding may be available.
You will support the District Nursing Lead Advanced Practitioner, lead a defined district nursing caseload, and there is an on-call commitment for palliative patients. A full driving licence is essential and a pool car may be available for work purposes on occasions, use of own vehicle will be required.
Candidates who have a nursing degree and relevant post-registration community experience are very welcome to apply for appointment at Band 5 with the opportunity to progress to Band 6 following completion of PgDip Specialist Practice (District Nursing).
