HEALTH IMPROVEMENT SENIOR
ARGYLL & BUTE, BASE NEGOTIABLE

FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY

DUE TO FUNDING ALLOCATION
The Public Health Department in Argyll & Bute Health and Social Care Partnership is recruiting a band 6 Health Improvement Senior practitioner to develop link working in primary care. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff who work in different locations, hence a negotiable base.
Link working is a new service that will be delivered as part of Scotland's modernising primary care programme. Link workers work in a person centred way to support people with practical problems e.g. debt, loneliness or caring responsibilities, that may be the root cause of their ill-health.
The successful postholder will have a wide range of health improvement experience and a sound understanding of public health practice. Robust skills in project planning are also required.
Informal enquiries can be made by contacting Alison McGrory Acting Associate Director of Public Health at email@example.com or 07766 160 801
Interviews are scheduled to take place on Friday 1 November 2019.
