Birchwood Highland is the leading provider of mental health support throughout the Highland region.

We have offices across the region in Inverness, Wick, Fort William and Invergordon which allows us to effectively deliver our community based services.

Our recovery centre in Inverness is a 23 bed residential unit delivering 24 hour support and respite to residents. The unique facility is at the cutting edge of mental health recovery and is accordingly graded as excellent by the Care Inspectorate.

We are proud of the innovative services we provide both through Birchwood Highland and our subsidiary company Birchwood Highland Enterprises. Are you our new Chair?

With experience or knowledge of the health care sector you should be an inspirational leader who can manage and develop the diverse range of skills our trustee board has to offer.

The role will see you setting the policy and strategic direction of Birchwood Highland ensuring targets are met and with the board evaluate the organisations performance. Working with the CEO you will represent the organisation to our stakeholders. We are keen to make sure we hear the voice of our whole community throughout the Highlands so welcome applications from people from all walks of life regardless of ethnicity, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation or religion.
