An exciting opportunity has arisen for an 8B Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join NHS Highland's Psychological Service. Betweenn December 2019 and September 2022 you will be working in partnership with Drug & Alcohol Services, NES, and charity partners, Combat Stress and Poppyscotland, in the development of Highland's Veteran's Health and Wellbeing Project. You will collaboratively develop a veteran's engagement model leading to the development of new pathways of care and adapting existing programs as appropriate. This is an exciting project and a chance for the right person to help shape this service for the future. The wider Psychological Service is a growing and dynamic service consisting of Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, CBT Psychotherapists, and CAAPs. We take Trainees from the Glasgow University D.Clin.Psych Course, as well as CAAP trainees and Health Psychology Trainees. This is an exciting time to join NHS Highland's Department of Psychological Services as we embark on an organisational change in service provision across Highland leading to future opportunities for those involved and a chance to help develop the service of the future.
