MacKinnon Memorial Hospital in Skye is delighted to announce it is recruiting Registered Nurses to join our new Renal Unit. This is a really exciting opportunity for individuals keen to work in Renal Nursing and be part of this new project which will significantly impact on the quality of life of dialysis patients. It will provide you with many educational and professional development opportunities.
You should be highly motivated, possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be eager to learn and keen to work in a nurse led team. You will also need the ability to work on a flexible working basis.
You will require to undertake a 12 week (full time) training programme at Raigmore Hospital to provide you with the skills to work in the Renal Unit. This is a competency based training programme supported by the Senior Charge Nurse and Clinical Educator at Raigmore. Accommodation, travel and subsistence allowance will be provided as per NHS Highland policy.
You must have first level registration. Experience in dialysis therapies is desirable however not essential.
