A vacancy has arisen for the position of Commissioning & Change Manager within the Estates Department of NHS Highland to provide support for all aspects of functional, technical and operational commissioning in relation to every Estates project from concept through entire lifecycle up to, and including, decommissioning and safe disposal, in accordance with statutory regulations and Scottish Capital Investment Manual.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for the management of change within the Estates Department, under the direction of the Estates Team Manager and the Head of Estates & Capital Planning.
Candidates must be educated to Degree level, or equivalent, in one of the relevant Building or Engineering Disciplines. The successful candidate is also expected to possess excellent leadership and management qualities, as well as planning and organisational skills.
The post covers all of NHS Highland and, as such, the post holder will be expected to travel extensively around the Highlands, including to Argyll & Bute.
