Nairn Town & County Hospital Occupational Therapy Occupational Therapist Band 5: £24,670 to £30,742 (pro rata) 19 hours per week, Permanent We are looking for a self motivated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team within Nairn Town and County Hospital. Applications are invited from Occupational Therapists who are keen to expand their clinical expertise in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment within the rehabilitation setting. Applicants would have preferably commenced a rotational foundation and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm within the rehabilitation process. You will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide a comprehensive service including treatment, appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a diverse range of patients within the ward environment. In addition you will work with a band four assistant providing home visits with a view to safe discharge. You will work alongside a band six Occupational Therapists and will enjoy a close relationship with the physiotherapy rehabilitation team. The department offers a rolling in service training programme which you will lead and participate in . If you are still undergoing flying start full support and mentoring will be given. The hospital offers in-patient rehabilitation, community outreach and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and out-patient musculoskeletal services.
