A vacancy has arisen for an experienced registered mental health nurse with extensive experience in community mental health team, to lead a multi-disciplinary team working with adults experiencing both acute and severe and enduring mental health problems. This post is based in Oban, Lorn & Isles and the post holder will be highly skilled and confident in the delivery of recovery-based approaches. Having the ability to autonomously manage their workload safely and effectively, demonstrating enhanced skills such as clinical risk assessment/management and positive risk taking. Experience in providing clinical and managerial supervision, managing significant changes in work practices and staff management is required.
The successful candidate will be a registered mental health nurse with adequate post registration experience and a current valid registration.
You will be expected to have a broad range of clinical skills, knowledge and experience. In addition to leading the team and providing support to staff you will have your own clinical caseload.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively to various work locations within NHS Highland Argyll & Bute HSCP.
