REFERRAL ASSESSMENT OFFICER
Permanent 35 hours per week
HC04 (£19,144.25 - £21,498.50)
An exciting opportunity has become available in the Inverness Community Mental Health Team for a Referral Assessment Officer, based in Inverness, covering NHS Highland South and Mid areas. This will also include teams in Nairn, Aviemore, Invergordon and Dingwall.
The post will provide individual needs led social care assessments, formulate care plans and undertake reviews for the team. The successful candidate will be able to work both without direct supervision and within a busy team. They will be passionate and creative enabling people who are experiencing mental illness to reach their full potential and quality of life.
As Referral Assessment Officer you will be responsible for working alongside Social Workers, Community Psychiatric Nurses and Occupational Therapists, to assess soical care aspects of mental health needs and liaise with the independent sector support providers to ensure care and support is provided as required.
