Band 5 - £25,100 - £31,649 (pro rata) per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Staff Nurse to join the Infusion Suite in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. We currently treat and assess between 60-80 patients per week in our 6 chair unit.
We are looking for a self motivated, caring and compassionate individual who can join our small Nursing Team in providing our patients with the highest standard of patient centred care.
You must possess excellent communication skills and be willing to learn and develop in the area of Biologic Infusions / IV administrations and the overall Infusion Suite service.
Ideally you should possess some clinical knowledge of the treatment of long term conditions (including patients from Gastroenterology, Neurology and Renal conditions), and be able to demonstrate a wide range of Nursing skills (including cannulation, venepuncture, ILS and IV administration).
You should have the ability to offer interventions, advice and delivery of safe, effective care to a diverse client population with a commitment to team working.
You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development be highly organised and have good IT skills. Minimum of 1 year post Nursing registration preferred. Training will be given to the successful candidate to equip them with the vital skills to carry out this role within the Infusion Suite.
